The Ecosystems Education Network was created in 2016 in an effort to provide consultation services and professional development training to connect student learning to the outdoors. Our Ecosystem professional staff works with educators, administrators and members of the community to build and provide nature-based experiences for students. Leading by example, our mission is to provide access to high quality experiences that bring together communities, children, educators and their natural world.
We provide leadership to drive the innovation in education that connects children to the natural world. The connection that these young future leaders have to the natural world will create and sustain the nature-rich environment that makes our community the best place to live, work, play and learn.
“Spending time in nature enhances educational outcomes by improving children’s academic performance, focus, behavior and love of learning.” Children and Nature Network
