In February of 2017, the ODC Network finalized its acquisition of 65 acres of land along the Rabbit River in Hamilton, Michigan. This property allows us to expand our programming, increase the number of high quality acres we manage and protect, and provide new opportunities to connect people with the outdoors. As a part of the Kalamazoo River Greenway, the Rabbit River Preserve serves as an extension of the ODC Network with a focus on the research and observation of riparian systems and forest ecology.
Take a stroll through the meadow at Rabbit River Preserve on the Meadow Trail.
The Forest Trail boardwalk provides beautiful scenery with a level platform making the forest easily accessible.
The picnic area provides a great place for people to gather.
Toilets are available near the parking lot at the top of the main trail.
