Gwénbeshké Celebration
Join us as we celebrate the care, creativity, and community effort that brought the ODC Network’s Cultural History Center to life. This special gathering honors Anishinaabe history and culture while marking an exciting new chapter for the Center.
Myriah Williams, M.Ed., Potawatomi Pokagon Band Citizen and ODC Cultural and Environmental Educator, invites you to our Gwénbeshké (Turning Over a New Leaf) Celebration. This is a drop-in event where community members of all ages are welcome to explore, learn, and spend time together.
Visitors can enjoy the Cultural History Center’s newest renovations, explore our replica homes, take part in hands-on crafts, play games, watch traditional indigenous dances and drummers, learn from informational displays, and share food and conversation. Whether you stop by briefly or stay awhile, there will be plenty to see and do.
We hope you’ll join us in celebrating the work that went into this space and the stories it helps share.
All ages welcome.
