Nate Bosch
Landscape Architect
As a landscape architect, Nate Bosch leads the planning, design, and implementation of ODC Network’s outdoor environments that enrich communities and strengthen connections to the natural world. His work focuses on creating safe, sustainable, and engaging landscapes that enhance learning, recreation, and ecological health—opening doors to outdoor education through thoughtful design and collaboration.
For Nate, this work is deeply personal. Some of his most cherished childhood memories are of playing and exploring in the creek by his home—experiences that sparked a lasting appreciation for nature and underscore the importance of creating similar, formative experiences for the next generation. He believes that the outdoor spaces we design today shape how children connect with and care for the natural world throughout their lives. For this reason, he holds the design and implementation of Sally Smoly Nature Playscape at Window on the Waterfront and the development of natural play spaces at Little Hawks Discovery Preschool among his top accomplishments.
Nate’s expertise in sustainable design, safety compliance, and collaborative project delivery ensures that every initiative is thoughtfully designed, fiscally responsible, and deeply rooted in community and environmental stewardship. As a natural collaborator, he excels at bringing together diverse stakeholders—educators, conservation professionals, community members, and municipal partners—to create outdoor environments that serve multiple purposes and meet the needs of all who use them. His work bridges ODC’s education and conservation missions, further connecting these vital areas through the school environments and public spaces he designs.
Before joining ODC, Nate spent over 15 years in the architecture and engineering industry, where he developed his passion for outdoor engagement, playground design and master planning for schools and municipalities. His prior roles provided a strong foundation in land use planning, feasibility studies, and large-scale public projects across institutional, municipal, and parks departments. Nate is a licensed Professional Landscape Architect (PLA), Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI), and LEED Accredited Professional.
