Birding for Beginners (at ODC)

Join us in this introductory class perfect for those curious about birding. You’ll learn identification techniques, basic terminology, how to use a guidebook and binoculars, and more before putting your knowledge into practice on a guided birding walk through our grounds. Gain scientific skills as you learn how to contribute your findings to citizen science, helping to further research and promote the conservation of these charismatic animals.
Binoculars will be provided.
For ages 10 and up.
Guardians stay with the class.
Registration is not required, but appreciated.
Fee: $6 per person, 20% discount for members
