Great Backyard Bird Count (at ODC)

Join us for the Great Backyard Bird Count! Whether you’re a seasoned birdwatcher or just starting out, this event is perfect for all skill levels. Come enjoy a peaceful time counting birds throughout our property. Warm up afterward with a cup of delicious hot chocolate! We will aim to go outside, but if weather is poor, we will bird from the visitors center bird observation room. It’s a great way to connect with nature, meet fellow bird enthusiasts, and contribute to important citizen science. Don’t miss out—everyone is welcome!

Binoculars are available for use during the event.

For ages 10 and up.

Registration appreciated, but not required.

Guardians stay with the group.
