Discover how Michigan’s animals make it through the winter! Join a naturalist from the Outdoor Discovery Center to learn what different reptiles, amphibians, and birds do when temperatures drop. Find out which animals hibernate, which migrate, which remain active, and the clever ways wildlife stays warm and finds food during the winter months.
Live animals will be featured, giving participants an up-close look at some of Michigan’s fascinating wildlife. Opportunities to touch a few of the animals may be offered during the program or at its conclusion, depending on the size of the audience.
All ages welcome.
