Request for Proposals: Macatawa River and Paw Paw Park Streambank Stabilization
You are invited to bid on the Macatawa River – Paw Paw Park Streambank Stabilization project. The bid documents have been prepared by Fishbeck on behalf of the ODC Network. The project generally consists of excavation for flood bench creation and stone in-stream structures along an approximately 1,000 linear foot stretch of the Macatawa River beginning at the pedestrian bridge upstream of the confluence with Noordeloos Creek in Paw Paw Park.
Bids will be accepted only from Plan Holders of Record. To be a Plan Holder of Record and acquire a copy of the Bid Documents, please e-mail myself and Kelly Goward with the ODC Network.
There will be a mandatory prebid meeting for interested bidders at 11 am on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 beginning at the Paw Paw park (West) parking lot. The bid opening will take place at 11 am on Tuesday, July 15th.
Construction is anticipated to begin August 1st, 2025 and be substantially complete September 12th. The Owner (ODC Network) will perform final stabilization of flood bench areas including seeding, mulch blankets, and live stakes.
Any questions about the meaning or intent of the Bid Documents shall be directed to myself in writing. Interpretations or clarification considered necessary by the Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda and delivered to all Plan Holders of Record.
Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you.
